March 2009 - Interviewed for Fallen Angel Reviews

How long does it normally take you to finish a book?

When I'm in the zone, I can have a book done in three to six months. Some books, like my first Moon Series book, Sweet Moon Dreams, or my upcoming paranormal romance, Changed, took a bit longer--years to be exact. It all depends really.

October 2008 - Interviewed for Infernal Dreams

Have you thought about or have you been approached about adapting any of your novels to film?

Oh, I think about it all the time. In fact, when I was writing the Moon Series, I often thought it out in my head as if it were a film. Fans have approached me and mentioned how they would love to see a movie based on my books, or possibly several movies. It makes me tingle thinking about it.

May 2008 - Interviewed for All Romance E-books

How much does reader reaction mean to you as an author?

It's important. It motivates me to keep on writing. Many times I will be discouraged about something, upset. But when I find a positive fan letter in my email, it just makes my day.

January 2008 - Interviewed for Beyond the Veil

Do you write everyday? Any routines or rituals? Are you a plot or seat-of-your-pants writer?

I write everyday, whenever I can get a free moment. It's usually at night, after work. I'm a plotter, generally, but I like to allow a little room for my characters and stories to grow. They often take me in directions I would've never though possible.

October 2007 - Interviewed by Liadan from Coffee Time Romance Reviews

Liadan: I saw on your website you are working on book four of the Moon Series, will that be the last book or do you see Rose and Jason continuing their story?

Rose: Yes, somewhat. The fourth book will be the last series in which Jason and Rose are the main focus of the story. Of course, I do hopefully plan on writing a series involving some of the minor characters. I think readers would like to know what happens to the rest of the pack in the coming years.

August 2007 - Interviewed by Brooke from Romance Junkies Reviews

If you could switch one thing about the way you write, what would it be?

I wouldn't change anything. My style is my own and if I were to change anything...well, it really wouldn't be my style would it? Did that make sense?

February 2007 - Interviewed by Tammy from Fallen Angel Reviews

Everyone has a different perspective on "getting away from it all" and a good book often helps to satisfy an escapist urge. As a reader and an author, what are the essential elements for you in good escapist reading?

Believable characters and scenarios, lots of action, a good plot and detailed descriptions are very important to me. If I can get into a book, feel like I really know the characters. I want to feel that I'm right there with them, experiencing what they are experiencing. Character-driven fiction is a big hit with me. If I can fall in love with the characters, then I will always find my escape.

October 2006 - Interviewed by Michelle Pillow

At what age/point in your life did you become aware of your gifts/abilities?

I had always sensed strange things from a very early age. I saw my first ghost when I was about five or six, though I didn't know it at the time. I always felt as if something was following me, like a monster. Whenever I would turn to see it, it would disappear. One day, I happened to walk by a mirror and glanced into it and saw the form of a tall man in a fancy dress suit, something of a 19th century style and I was stunned, scared.

When I was about sixteen I began to research more about psychically sensitive people and discovered I was clearly one. Since then, I have come to accept my gifts and I am no longer afraid to face it.
